Macafem - anyone try it for natural hormone help

Post by Erica P-G »

I have a question in to them about the food sensitivities....but it appears it helps to get a person's own body to create its own hormones instead of relying on external help.

Has anyone used this and did it seem to help?

Here is their response...I'm gathering from the ingredient list below that "Lactose Monohydrate 150mg" means its off limits to me...sigh.

Hello Erica,

Each Macafem tablet contains 500mg of micro-powdered extract of Lepidium Meyenii which is a 100% natural herb rich in proteins, amino acids, dietary fiber and vitamins B1, B2, C and E. It is also a super source of dietary minerals including calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, iron, and trace minerals including zinc, copper and manganese.

The ingredients in minimum quantities for producing the tablets are:

Cellulose 200 mg
Lactose monohydrate 150 mg
Corn starch 10 mg
Magnesium stearate 4 mg
