Hi,
I found this book on the Microscopic Colitis Forum on FB. Since so little literature is found about MC I got curious, of course. Have any of you tested the program?
It comes with a "100% money back guarantee", and already there you get suspicious.
In the FAQ section it is said:
"There are very few foods even at the grocery store that cannot be eaten on the plan. We recommend not using milk during healing but there are two great alternatives that we give you to use instead. Despite the common opinion on the subject, yogurt is possibly the worst single food you can eat… probiotics and all".

Of course, in order to have a qualified opinion about the program, one should at least buy & read it, to see what it is.

PS: After having read the "Testimonials" section, I understand that it has something to do with a certain tea and perhaps fasting, since one of the customers is talking about "what is a little hunger compared to surgery?".

Hi Lilia,
A lot of sales experts recommend the use of 100 % money back guarantees these days, because it lends an aura of authenticity. And it's a cheap tactic because the percentage of people who ask for a refund is typically rather low. But as you say, it makes many of us suspicious, especially when it's applied to medical advice, because doctors never guarantee their advice.
I read a little there, but it appears to be little more than a slick sales pitch. He basically blames too much stomach acid for all digestive issues. There's a little bit of truth in there (regarding GERD patients for example, whom he points out may have too little stomach acid), but stomach acid certainly isn't the cause of MC or any other IBD.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
