I do have mast cell diagnosis from colonoscopy. What kind of doctor treats mast cell issues? Wondering if alot of my other health issues could be related to those issues.

you might need to do a bit of searching on the forum for previous discussions or search via google
here is one web page that might be able to provide some info

here is a blog/web page of interest. There is some good research coming out with the linkage of mast cells /histamine and methylation cycle issues

in my opinion, mast cells and MC are not root cause illness, they are symptoms of other issues in the body...

Hi C,
For mastocytic enterocolitis, you would need a gastroenterologist trained to deal with mast cell issues. For systemic mastocytosis you would need an allergist trained to deal with systemic mastocytosis. Currently, the only physicians we are aware of in either category were trained by Dr. Maria Castells at the Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston. The qualified doctors whom we are aware of are on the list at the link below, but it's certainly likely that there are others who are not on the list. Unfortunately there are very few qualified specialists in the world who truly understand mast cell issues and how to treat them.
Here's a link to our list:
List Of Doctors Very Helpful For Treating Mast Cell Issues
IMO mast cell issues tend to amplify most other health issues when they are active, and MCAD can trigger many other health issues.
