thinking about how inflammation / histamine affects MC'ers and what antihistamine to take, I had memory of this diagram and the linkage of what type of histamine reactions affect what part of the body/system of the body.

Tex has shared the Mast Cell information with most new people but this diagram might be of use
(and help to explain why inflammation can impact your whole body not just your gut)

It doesnt provide all the answers, but the diagram does help to explain some of the 'whys'
one thing I had forgotten until I reviewed this again today, that histamine affects estrogen, and estrogen affects histamine...
it has a two way relationship..

it also explains why H1 antihistamine blockers may not remove All the symptoms that each individual is experiencing ....
