Disappointe

Post by Lela2 »

After 2 normal BMs yesterday, last night got gassy and have had some diarrhea  Granted, between all my meds it's not as bad as before started entocort ( beginning week 3now). I've gone gluten free as much as I know. It's helped, it seems. Just have to watch out for pesky fiber which I don't tolerate well. Really frustrated after yesterday!! Ugh!!

Lela, think back to what you were eating prior to the gas. You will be able to zero in on it. Medications are the worst for me. I only take d3 orally, only one I can tolerate.

Good luck,
Martha E.

Thx! I think it was a new cereal with 1 gram more fiber. I did not realize I could get my cereal in town, but I found it, and got some yesterday. I'm just doing the best I can, and if I have diarrhea with my hip replacement, so be it!! Lela

You have the right attitude. Worrying about things that are beyond our control only adds to the stress, and stress is a primary cause of MC flares.

I wish you the best of luck in your surgery and recovery.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
