White toenail...
Hi everyone...
I always wear toe nail polish....I took it off to change colors and only my big toe on one foot is partially white. I don't remember injuring it, and it doesn't hurt at all. Anyone ever have this or know of a reason why would be white? Some kind of fungus maybe? But why just one toe?
Thanks!

I had to stop wearing nail polish as my nails reacted to it (and I would have constant fungus issues with my toe nails ) i think it is a combo of the ingredients of the polish and blocks the nails ability to breathe persay...
there are drops/creams that you can use to treat fungal issues.

it has been part of my daily mantra for past few years..
after getting through 3 weeks of bad lichen sclersis flare that is starting to heal, I now have weird lumpy boils on my neck, pus type sores on my scalp
either my body is clearing toxins/metals (woo hoo, happy with that) or i have worsening dermatological issues (not so good)
have 90 day wait to see dermatologist...
(it was great way to turn up to a job interview! - luckily the lady interviewing me has Sjorgens and we spent more time talking about Vit D3, magnesium, bone broth than the job I was applying for)

the local doctor is not that crash hot...
the proactive functional doctor that i see is a 2hr each way drive and i have not been well enough to do the drive to see them, regardless it will be the same outcome, be on the waitlist for an appointment with dermatolgist.

It's probably fungus. The same thing happened to me after leaving the polish on forever. I had to keep cutting the dead part of the nail and I applied tea tree oil to that nail for months. The nail was as short as I could bear to keep getting rid of that dead fungus area.
It took almost a year to get rid of it completely but nail is back to normal now. I threw out all my nail polish and I've sworn off nail spas.
