Its gonna be a LONG day

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Well, Geoff got me up at 6:30 this morning with the wonderful news that the breaker controling power to the livingroom and dinning room tripped. Turns out it completely shot, so I have no TV, no sewing machine. Fortunately I have the computer, and the girls TV in the playroom should work. Geoff's PITA brother was supposed to switch out our breaker box months ago because of its age and there are several, already labeled "bad" breakers. Hopefully there is at least one more good one he can switch us to until the box gets replaced. I don't think I'll wait on him though.

That sucks, Katy!

At least you have the computer. Actually, some days I turn everything off and just enjoy the peace and quiet. It sounds like the kitchen is still running - that's good. Hope you find things to do.

Love,

Polly

If all else fails, you can always kill a few hours searching eBay for some gadget that you don't even realize you need, until you see it. LOL. Or maybe you can locate some unique Christmas gifts, there. There are few things handier for passing the time, than a computer hooked up to the internet.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
