well will say that it is nice getting away from the routine @ home but then when U get to where U R vacationing, it feels like the same routine @ home???
our day continued with more food/other necessities---stacking things away---then forgetting where U put what U R looking for
and we have one more *bin* of stuff that Doug is bringing over tomorrow---which is all of my things
to be honest----to vacation like this one should really have a place here/home---this way stuff is left and U hop in the car and get home--
our friends,Carmine and Gene, have a house in ILL. and last year bought this lovely place here---come and go as they please
when we get home---we have to do the whole shopping routine cus Mr. Louie--clears out the frig and shuts it off!!!!
GUESS U all know I am in the *sounding off mood*
they also have new management---not to friendly young ladies--I might add---
we had a few items amiss and we went to have them *fixed* and they had a big *TUDE*-------
other than those itsy-bitsy things--weather is grand--we have a very nice neighbor--young man renting who is in the service here---married 6 months and waiting for his wife to join him---awwwwwwwwwww
so am off----still waiting for daughter #2,Lynn, to call!!!!!grrrrrrrrrrrr
can get thru---we do have a cell phone also!!!!
AND a VIRUS got thru Norton---but all cleaned up/out!!!
luve U all
keep a smile
luv Barbara

VACATION????? UFF
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control
Hi Mrs. Columbo,
Sorry to hear that your vacation is turning in to "the same old routine". I'm guessing that may be because you and Lou are setting up your "home away from home" pretty much the same as you have your permanent home set up. That makes it seem more like routine, than like something new and novel. You really aren't getting away from it all--you're setting it up all over again there in AZ. IOW, You're working too hard. Try to remember that you're on vacation. LOL.
Luv,
Galahad

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hiya Sis!
Sounds to me like we may see a post soon that talks about you and Lou going house-hunting in AZ! Why not???? It would sure reduce all of this packing/stocking/cleaning out, etc. It would greatly SIMPLIFY your life, which is something I've really gotten into, so I can appreciate your rantings and ravings!
Love,
Sis

Morning Barbara,
Sound off all you want and get ahold of a Realtor fast and start looking. It would be the best for you and Lou.
Glad you are getting settled and soon things will ease up and everything will be found easily. Sorry about the new management - that stinks.
Love, Maggie
I am beat!!

Hey there Barb,
There's a big art fair in downtown Tempe: the twice a year-take-over-the-town one. That would be a nice vacationy thing to do.
This Thursday Andrea Bocelli will in Phoenix. At one time it was sold out, but now I see there are tickets available. I don't understand how that works, but the concert will be Andrea+ballet+symphony.
And home prices are stabilizing, but still pretty inflated. They went up by about a third this year. Casa Grande is booming, and Florence, too. Even inflated, we still have reasonable home prices compared to a lot of the country. If you want to look at our community as an example of what's around, let me know. We're 30 minutes from Phoenix airport, 15-20 from the mall, 15 from a Starbucks. Walking distance from a Fry's, Walgreens, golf, and pool. If there's anything else a person needs, I don't know what it would be!
Im glad you're settling in. It is a lot of work going back and forth, isn't it?
Total empathy here, Marsha
