Anyone with this problem?

Post by Janie »

For about 6 mos. I had a lot of gurgling popping and gas. It doesn't knock the buzzard off a meat wagon!! I have mostly regular BM's and occasional loperamide use. I thought it would slowly go away but it is 6 mos. now. Can't seem to figure if it is going to be a bigger problem than what it is.
Happy to see Tex on here more and recovering well! :bear:

HI Janie,

Lots of gurgling and gas....well my first instinct is that perhaps you are eating something that continues to disagree with you....I'd be a detective and explore my food options and base them on Stage one healing eating plan from this site.

Let us know if you find your culprit ;-)

Yes, something in your diet is causing that. Broccoli or cabbage or some other cruciferous vegetable, for example. Carbs in general cause gas.

something in your eating /drinking plan is causing issues...

for me it is generally related to sugar or too many carbs,

I think it is too many carbs. Doesn't cause D, but it is annoying. Trying to limit my carbs but to how many a day? I eat veggies 3 times a day. I do stage 1 with a few safe other foods that I eat.

I find that I can eliminate gas issues if my meal portions are 2/3 protein, 1/3 veges basically that the protein serve is more than half of the meal.
