Quit ReMag, Energy Returned

My computer has been down and finally, it's nice to read and be on the forum again. I'd be no where without all of you and wish I was far enough along to offer sound advice to newbies as many of you do. My heart breaks for those who are newly diagnosed and am so glad they have found this forum.
Just a few weeks ago I had posted a new topic on my chronic fatigue. Tex sent me the newsletter link on MC and fatigue and others also kindly responded.
Going back in time, I began to see the link between ReMag and my loss of energy. I was adding 600mg to my large drinking water daily. So, I quit the ReMag and within days, my energy came back. Now, I have normal energy again. For me, a tremendous relief! ReMag works great for many, but was too much for me even when I cut the dosage back to 250 mg a day.
Now I take a safe, daily vitamin with 100 mg of magnesium (malate) and then at bedtime, I take 200 mg of Doctor's Best chelated magnesium glycinate.
Phillips Colon probiotic is now helping me, which didn't in the beginning. I remain on Stage One Diet as I gradually experiment.
I had a brief flare recently, after weeks of normals and think it is attributed to fat. I had my gall bladder out years ago and the only issue, throughout the years, was too much fat. I don't really want to take cholestryamine but, won't rule it out. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
