Love My Stone Wave Cooker!

Post by skp »

Recently I was cleaning out a cabinet and found two Stone Wave microwave cookers that I had purchased some time ago. I hadn't really used them and thought I would give them a spin. They are small but perfect for one serving, which is why I had purchased two. They come with a recipe book but I have found that they are wonderful for cooking vegetables very quickly with out a lot of water. So, the veggies retain more of their nutrient content. Easy cleanup.

I chop carrots or cauliflower or sweet potatoes, etc and put them in the Stone Wave. Within 2-3 minutes, they are soft. Naturally, it will depend on the type of microwave you have. My microwave is a small one with less energy.

There are some decent recipes in the book that comes with them and no doubt more online. Not all are MC safe but with creativity, I think there could be a wide variety.

Here is a link on Amazon. If this doesn't work, just google Stone Wave Microwave cooker.
