This statement in the article is incorrect:
The debate about casein type has been going on for decades. Yes, A2 milk is easier for humans to digest, but it doesn't work for people who have a casein intolerance. The milk of all species has both types of casein, in different ratios. It turns out that as the milk industry evolved, they selected the worst breeds, resulting in milk that digests poorly. They were selected because of production, so as always, it's a matter of money. This is nothing new. Dairies that have tried to do this in the past, have always given up, because of simple economics.
We also discussed this back in 2011:
Possible link mercury with gluten and casein intolerance?
Thanks for the link.

It should say mostly A2, (not only A2).Goat, sheep, water buffalo and human breast milks all contain only A2-like proteins, and thousands of years ago, cow’s milk also had only A2.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
i recall seeing that debate in the past. Some want to link the different type of caseins to a cause of heart attacks. I believe there is a book called the Devils Milk that delves into that. I personally doubt it is true. I stopped drinking milk a number of years ago due to it's poor taste to me more than anything.
If both of you (as parents) tested negative to casein antibodies then the A2 type milk should be a lot easier for your daughter to digest. This will be an interesting real world test of the claim that it's a better option. I'm anxious to see if it will hold up to the claims.
