Cabbage juice for a flare? (Or any other juice)
Anyone treated a flare with cabbage juice? Tons of it on the internet for ulcerative colitis and gastritis.... chime in.

Cabbage juice for a flare? (Or any other juice)
Hi Gabes,
It only helps in as much that it provides me nutrition while I am going through a flare..... but I am not sure it helps in other ways. If I eat when I get up or for several hours thereafter, I am guaranteed to feel miserable with indigestion that doesn't go away. So I abstain from eating until late afternoon and juice all day. I have been doing this for 5 weeks now and I am better but not out of the woods yet.
That's the only thing that juicing is good for apparently. I haven't found what works for a flare yet. Near complete abstinence from food is what I do and it works marginally until it decides to go away.
I wish I knew more.
xxxoooo
