PINEAPPLE - Question on how to re-Introduce it

Post by TREESE »

Good Morning, Friends -

My CC has been stable for a good year, so I am staring to re-introduce certain things I miss. FAGE Yogurt 2% by the tablespoon so far is fine. Up to 2 tablespoons now.

How do I re-introduce pineapple chunks like from a mixed fruit salad? One chunk at a time? Then up it to two chunks after 3 days? Or every other day? Or NOT a good idea at all?

Thanks, All!

not the most ideal idea to introduce pineapple

1. from a mixed fruit salad it can have contamination from other fruits
2. high fibre
3. high sugar
4. depending on when fruit salad was prepared, it may have started to ferment a bit (especially if in juices of melons etc)

the safest fruit options for MC is banana and peeled apple.

Hi, GABES - How quickly you have again come to my aid! I seem to be forgetting the things I learned 2 years ago when I was reading everything I could about CC. Perhaps it is the ageing process. But, no matter what it is, my sincere thanks to you for reminding me of the basics... peeled apple and banana! Yes!!

Treese,

Another problem with pineapple is that I believe it is a citrus fruit, and most of us have trouble handling medium to large doses of citric acid before we are well-healed.
