YOGA!!!!!!!!
Well, nobody ever told me that there are different *phases* of this terrifiness!!!
At home I watched this gal who had a YOGA program, early a.m., and the moves were the lotus meditation--and other graceful moves but THIS was like being a PRETZEL---and the moans and groans from some of the peoples were hilarious cus the instructor kept saying---*im hearing noises I shouldnt* hahahaha
I couldnt do half of what they did----so I *sat*---then when I was able I attempted to put right leg under body --stretch left leg out and then try to grab ya TOES!!!!
Ya gotta be kidding---
After we left the class Carmine said to me *U have to see how nice and colorful your face is* WELL by golly---sure it was red--it was all the blood rushing to my head!!!!
Tooooooo Funny!!!!!!
This Carmine is gonna kill me-----and Thrusday is Tai Chi again---
I thought I was here for a VACATION???? But as I said before----NO GRASS is GONNA GROW UNDER OUR FEET!!! Carmine's quote!!!
OHHHHH----and the class ended with our hands together--bowing and saying the word -----NAMASTE----isnt this what Sally and POLLY use--this was the most RELAXING of the whole thing
I asked the teacher what it meant---
*I greet U*
*I welcome U*
*I HONOR U*
Is this what U gals know it to mean also???? I hope I spelled it right??
so I leave now---
Namaste and Luve

Hi Barb,
I took about two months of Tai Chai a couple of years ago during the summer. It was very relaxing but did not renew the class because I did not have the time. My gym has started offering it but the class is in the middle of the day. It did not make me sore but the first couple of weeks were half tai chai. The other half you had a partner and did exercises where you could feel the other person's energy.
I starting taking yoga regularly in September. The class is based mostly on hatha style yoga. I sweat as much or more in this class as I do in my spinning class! Hope you are not too sore from the yoga. If I do not go at least once a week my arms are sore. It has helped the range of motion in my knees. I noticed about a month ago that I could bend my knees more when I sit cross-legged in class.
Take care,
TXBRenda
