Do you have a solution for nausea?
Hey friends,
Nausea is part of MC. I have it occasionally. Other than ginger tea, do you have another solution?
Thanks,
Monique

Hi Monique,
I had it almost constantly when I was reacting. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had a chronic magnesium deficiency. I think that's the reason why so many MC patients have nausea. Antihistamines will also help to relieve nausea, but they can cause a gas problem for some people.
Love,
Tex

Thanks Tex.
I just googled morning sickness and found that many women take magnesium for it during pregnancy. I always took it but I just came back from Israel where I was vacationing for nearly a month and I forgot to take it with me. Now I am connecting the dots.... nausea was with me there and is still now.
What really worked for me in the past was Elavil before I went on LDN but the side effects are horrific (and the constant hunger and weight gain). I did try antihistamines in the past. Fexofenadine if I remember correctly. Maybe I give it another try.
How are you my friend? I think of you often.... hope you're well.
Love,
Monique

Elavil is an antihistamine.
I'm doing OK, can't complain. And I'm feeling pretty good these days, and slowly getting my strength back. I hope you're doing well (other than the nausea).

I highly recommend the VitD3 and Magnesium regimen ;-)
It has been a winner for me!! along with the fact that removing gluten and dairy helped tremendously...lol

Hi, Monique. I don't experience nausea very often but when I do coconut water and peppermint tea help me. I also take D3 and magnesium every day. I never miss taking it.

Thanks guys ----- those who take vit D3 --- I already take 6,000 U .... How much do you take?
And I am taking mag in spray since it gives me D in pills. I missed it for a whole month while I travelled (trying to pack light, may have been a mistake).
Thanks Marcia for the coconut water, never tried that.
Also I wanted to ask if Synthroid first thing in the morning can be the cause of this since my nausea always starts in the morning. Not clear by the literature.
Thanks to all.

I used to take synthroid, and I never noticed (or heard of) it causing nausea, but I suppose anything is possible. One reason why nausea starts in the morning is because that's when we use up the previous day's intake of magnesium and we begin to become severely magnesium deficient (until the first meal of the day).
That should be plenty D3, by the way. That's a good dose.

I've had nausea for most of my adult life.
I started taking taking digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid (as suggested by Dr Fine about 2 years ago) and I haven't been queasy at all!
I think my food was lying in my stomach fermenting all those years!
Just a thought!
