question: Normal vs Registration post...

Post by GrammyLou »

Just wondering...
When I make a post here, there is an option at the bottom that says: post topic as Normal or Registration. It defaults to Registration for me, but I always switch it to Normal.

What does that option mean?

thanks,
~Louise

As long as it's a regular post, it doesn't matter, even though the system defaults to "Registration". Unless you fill out the "Registration" form below the posting window, the system will ignore the "Registration" designation and post it as a regular post. The registration form was used originally as a way to schedule meetings and events by allowing prospective attendees to register their intention to attend or participate in the event. The registration form does not appear under the "Quick reply" option, only under the "New topic" posting option.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
