Interesting test for glyphosate

Post by Deb »

Hey, everybody. It's David Clymer, CEO at MyMedLab, here in my winter office, the greenhouse. I thought that was an appropriate place to start the conversation about a test experience we're getting ready to release that looks for the amount of the pesticide glyphosate in your body. The new urine test is available through our partnership with Great Plains Lab but the whole glyphosate story is pretty personal to me.

A couple years ago one of my favorite experts at MyMedLab encouraged me to look into the Microbial Organic Acids test (https://www.mymedlab.com/…/microbial-or ... s-test-moa…) from Great Plains as a great way to evaluate my overall health. While doing a follow-up test some time later to check my progress, I found GPL’s newly released test for residual levels of glyphosate in urine. So I added one to my new tests to see for myself. As an avid organic gardener of more than 20 years, I was shocked to see my results come back in the 93rd percentile. Simply put, out of every hundred results they receive, mine was the 93rd highest. So armed with my results I began to seek out the smartest people on the subject. The one common denominator that was in all those conversations was, "you should check your water."

And so, I did... My water came back at an extremely high level, proving to be a major source of my family’s exposure. I installed a whole-house filter system once I understood that you're exposure is not only from drinking the water but you're cooking and bathing in it too. And your skin is your largest organ. I have begun to see Glyphosate as we did with Lead in the past. Do I know all the dangers from Glyphosate? - no. Am I willing to wait until all the research is done to know for sure? - no. I want to take action now and that all starts by taking our new test.

My journey is very much a work in progress but it has proved to be a vital part of rebuilding my microbiome (gut flora) that was being decimated with high levels of glyphosate. What I wanted to do next was make the same information available to the MyMedLab community before it goes out to the public.
I am excited to announce that the same testing experience I used for my own family is now available for yours. The urine Glyphosate kit along with a tap water sample is sent to your house, collected at home, no lab visit required, for $199. You can use this LINK (https://www.mymedlab.com/…/urine-glypho ... tap-water-…) today to order the urine/tap water for yourself.

If you choose to test the whole family together, we’ve made it simple with our help to test everyone at once by adding each family member for only $99/test. In case you don't know, the lab world is far from automation, that's what we try to do here at MyMedLab. Each test requires a lab order in their name. What we saw in the beta release is that our users not only want to know their own levels, but want to test their family as well.

If you are interested in the family testing, CLICK HERE (https://mymedlab.us14.list-manage.com/subscribe…) we’ve created a simple way to have one of our concierges set up the entire family process for you. We'll set up the testing experience for the rest of the family members for $99/test since you only need one tap water sample for the family.

I'd love to start a conversation on people's experience. What we'd love to do is build kind of a citizen scientist movement around it so we can begin to see if it's more intense in certain zip codes or things like that. So, please, become part of our community. Share the information with others. The test - I'd love to see the MyMedLab community get in first, but we'll make this offer available to the public at large and then we can all begin to learn with each other. Peace.
