Food sensitivity testing in Australia

Post by MelDR »

So much info on this forum, great!!
When it comes to enterolab testing that is discussed so frequently, does australia offer something similar? Is it worth having food sensitivity testing? Doctors have very mixed reviews on reliability etc. I had a food sensitivity test in 2013 which used a hair sample, it seemed as if I was intolerant to everything..became impossible to follow.

So far, EnteroLab has been the only lab that we've found to provide consistently accurate results. As you say, most other labs show too many false positive results. And many of them also miss the main sensitivities.

One of our members successfully ordered a test kit from Hong Kong. I'll bet that you could order EnteroLab tests from Australia. You could email them or phone them to get a confirmation on whether or not it is possible. And if it is, they could provide instructions on the details of how to go about it.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Mel
there are some aussie based testing available, but as yet they do not seem to be to the level and quality of the enterolab testing

I think a bit part of this is that the founder of the enterolab testing is a dr with MC.
