Need Medication advice

Post by Adele13348 »

I am making progress but I want to be sure I am getting enough of the right meds. I'm taking a capful of Remag and 2000IU D3daily. Am also taking a GF organic multivitamin, 500 mg turmeric and a Zyrtec (histamine issues). I am also, temporarily, taking 9 mg Entecort. I am one week off my SSRI (yippee!) and am having acupuncture and taking Chinese herbs but don't ask me what they are. Are these dosages sufficient, particularly the D3 and mag? Thanks.

Hi Adele.

My Remag bottle says that 1/2 teaspoon or 1/2 capful is 150mg magnesium.

It sounds like you are on the right track with your amounts....if you find you are not able to graduate up to the 2 teaspoons that is recommended on the bottle for a total of 600mg then you might stick with your teaspoon/capful which is 300mg and then find some external magnesium to gain another 200mg and get your VitD intake up to 5000 and you should be good to go.

Will try another capful in the afternoon or evening. So far, the amount I’m taking has almost eradicated my migraines. So thankful! Thanks for info.
