Won’t do that again!

Post by LauraAnn »

I just recently started eating more and more vegetables after two years of squash and green beans. Well I guess I was a little cocky about it and thought I was superwoman. This past week I ate a beautiful artichoke (yum) and did ok. The next night ate some beautiful asparagus cooked crispy in the oven (yum) and did ok. So the next night ate the rest of the asparagus.....not a good idea. How much fiber did I think I could handle? I paid dearly for that on Wednesday and had to miss my weights and conditioning class and had to miss a dinner out tonight with friends. That was the first time I went off the charts and now I’m convinced that fiber is not my friend right now. I’ll be okay, but had to learn the hard way to pay attention to what Tex and all of you are saying. :oldmanwithcane:

Sorry it didn't work out, but it wasn't a total loss — we all have to find our limits.

Hope you recover quickly.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
