Esophageal erosion

Post by DebE13 »

My son had an endoscopy/colonoscopy today. He is 23 and this is the first time I haven't gone with. His wife took hiim. She sent me his overview of the procedure and everything GI is not active so that's good news. The endoscopy revealed the lower part of his espophagus looks quite painful..... Red lesions. He has to start taking omeprazole to heal the ulcers (or whatever they'd be called) and has to have a repeat endoscopy in 3 months.

Should I be concerned? I don't like the idea of a PPI considering he has enough GI issues (UC and crohns) but he needs to heal. Is this likely to spark more issues?

That may depend on how long he has to use them.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

HI Deb,

Here's a good read....https://www.utopiasilver.com/protocol/s ... -protocol/

Realizing your son has lesions and perhaps not an ulcer, the comparison is in a similar area and I have had a very good experience with the Nano-silver by rxsilver.com so far, and the healing properties range pretty far and wide on an array of symptoms.

I suggest this because I would dread anyone having to be on that omeprazole...it just sets more people backwards than it does helping as far as I'm concerned.

I hope you find the answers you need.
