Sensitive to Dairy or Soy but not Gluten

Post by grannykathy »

I know that with MC gluten is usually the first culprit on the list, but are some ok with gluten but have sensitivities to Dairy, Soy or other foods?

It is relatively rare for someone who has MC to not be sensitive to gluten. Most of the few people who are not sensitive to gluten developed MC by being sensitive to a medication such as NSAIDs, PPIs, SSRIs, etc., and if they stop the drug soon enough and stay away from it their diarrhea will stop. Those who don't stop the drug soon enough will develop food sensitivities, like everyone else.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
