"JUST MAYO" BRAND INFORMATION ESPECIALLY IF CORN S

Post by bevfromwa »

I have been using this brand of faux mayo for a few years, just noticed they have a new label. Duh! I of all people should know better and should have looked at the ingredients. Yup, you guessed it, it has totally changed. Now the 2nd ingredient is starch--which one? Of course corn starch. The thing that is #3 sensitivity on my Enterolab testing.

Hope this will be of use.

We've got to ask, question everything. Recently went to a Thai restaurant with another GF person, the waitress led us to safe choices, but they came with extras, a soup with tofu, and some fried crunchy things. Turns out the server didn't know that wheat is gluten or that tofu is soy. aargh!

I want mayo bad! But don't know what kind to buy? Thanks for the tip, going to whole foods on Tuesday and need to find some mayo, found Glutino GF bread I seem to tolerate.

I haven't tried Glutino, usually make my own bread, but have tried Canyon 7 grain when I'm busy, and despite the long list of ingredients, is the best commercial I've tasted and had no problems. Good luck!
