Vasomotor Rhinitis and Mast Cell Problems

I inherited Vasomotor Rhinitis Disease from my aunt. This disease in my case and my aunt's case is because we're allergic to the weather. Yes, the weather! I can tell within one day or two that a storm is brewing. Here in Savannah, we have popcorn storms almost daily and I stay sick. It mimics allergies, hence I spent a fortune at the allergist's office and know I bought him a couple of Mercedes Benzes. The allergy injections did nothing for my hellish ordeal. The allergist even called me CRAZY! I found this out from another allergist. She found it in my medical chart. She became very angry. This disease is real. It inflames the lining of your nose, your eyes, your face, your ears, your brain and other areas. I would get sick and dizzy and could barely drive a car. I was like this when I was a Wee Kid. It made obtaining a college degree and work difficult. I felt better when I worked the midnight shift because the dizziness and discomfort would subside. Weather Changes are my Enemy! Everybody called my aunt crazy and I know I was bullied because of it. It's a living hell. This is common and many people have it and confuse it with allergies -yes, allergies to weather changes. Can somebody communicate with me? I feel as thought I am bothering y'all. Warm Regards, Dorothy

Inflammation and reactions whether allergies, MC or other trigger are related.
Nutrient deficiencies in the body mean that the body can not regulate levels and inflammation increases.
If you read through posts about others with histamine /mc issues have resolved this it will give you good information about some options to help you.
Maybe this is why you are struggling to get improvement with diet alone.

I am a bit puzzled, if you have these type of reactions, and you are struggling with the MC why would you do a trip to a different climate / country??
The combo of weather change, with food and water changes appears like tsunami of triggers for you.
Going to another country

Hi Gabes, I've been sick from illnesses all my life. If I stayed home because of every disease I have, you may as well put me in a cave and never let me out. I wouldn't have a life! I went to Russia by myself with Spasmodic Torticollis. I had a ball. Yes, I had pain but I had fun! I control my diseases, my diseases don't control me. I am not my illness! I can't become a hermit and spend the rest of my life in the bathroom or have a chronic disease that makes me miserable. I am not that type of person. We have a chronic illness but we have to maintain a positive attitude.

I totally get the living life and being positive, but if doing that means the list of health issues is increasing is it worth it??
One thing we discuss frequently here is that you can get your life back, albeit it may not be the same as before. Long term stable remission occurs when we modify eating and lifestyle choices.
You made multiple posts in past day or so asking for help and support.
My observation is, things won't get better unless you make changes the body needs to heal.
My health issues don't own me, but I don't defy them and push them to their limits.
