High Dosage budesonide for remission

Post by biggs »

One fifth of CC patients, especially those with NSAID intake at diagnosis, require high-dose budesonide (≥6 mg/d) to maintain clinical remission." I read this article published by .gov/pub med. Has anyone with CC had this experience? I have CC and I am currently taking 2 budesonide per day and doing ok., but I seem to need 3 per day at least once every 10 days or so. Not so good I think. I am currently gluten free and following the guidelines for recovery stage 1. I have had CC since last June and still tapering on budesonide. I only started the strict diet a month or so ago. Thank you
