Full-blown Flare

Post by darlagroat »

Hi,
I was diagnosed with CC in 2013. Budesonide didn't work for me, and I didn't want to use the heavy duty drugs so with the help of everyone here on this site, I obtained remission with diet and was really good....until I wasn't. I had added in dairy and eggs, stayed away from gluten and soy, but was pretty much able to eat foods with longer ingredient lists, and eat out without difficulty.
As I look back, I think this flare started late summer, and kind of deteriorated slowly until full-blown misery at Thanksgiving time. I have tightened up my diet again, eating soup that I make, and doing what I did before. I had enterolab testing in late 2013. Do you think there is any point in redoing that? Might the sensitivities have changed?
Does anyone in South Orange County California know of a gastroenterologist who has been helpful with treating CC?
I'm open to all suggestions at this point. It is amazing how much I had forgotten about the intricacies of dealing with CC when I was feeling good!
Thanks in advance!!
