Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Extract, etc. for healing

Post by SharLee »

Has anyone used the following product as a substitute for Pepto Bismol and/or to repair the stomach lining? I am gluten-free, etc. according to my EnteroLab report yet still have issues. Guess it’s early days yet. I’m thinking a good coating might help in the meantime...until the day when I get better.

This product looks okay from researching each item: Thorne Research - Pepti-Guard - Support for a Healthy Stomach Lining with DGL and Aloe Vera Extract - 120 Capsules DGL is Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Extract 400 mg – Bismuth Citrate 240 mg – Aloe Vera Gel (dehydrate powder) and Berberine Hcl each 200 mg

So does anyone know anything about the product or the various ingredients.

Thanks, Sharon
