Mastic Gum for healing

Post by SharLee »

Hello, I can't find anything here specific to Mastic Gum though maybe I'm not putting in the correct search terms.

Has anyone used Mastic Gum in place of Pepto Bismol? (Which isn't working too well for me and I have cut out gluten and the other food intolerances according to EnteroLabs).

One woman mentioned Tanalbit Plant Tannins but the company is now closed.

Hi Sharlee
I'm interested in trying mastic gum after reading a post on another MC site about it being very helpful but I can't find any references about its use anywhere on this site.
Has anyone tried it? Results?
Or any references about its use in MC anywhere else?

Hi dottydog, I didn't go ahead and try it. Instead I got Thorne's Pepti-Guard for a healthy stomach lining on Amazon with bismuth citrate, etc. It IS expensive but I just take one a day unless I have a flare-up. Worked much better for than Pepto-Bismol.
