Happy New Year Polly and all.

Well, I have not made it to midnight in years . So, dear friends, I wish you one and all the very best in the coming year.

May we live to learn well, and learn to live well.
May you live as long as you want,
and never want as long as you live.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Sorry I was not on line all weekend but just had to have downtime and was not being anti-social. I am exhausted and have recuperated somewhat but for 2006 I am going to pay more attention to me and my health and not so much work. At least for the short haul.

Love you and and will try to be around more now that Xmas is over at work.

Love, Maggie

Happy New Years to everyone!!

I haven't been around much - done some reading - but not posting!! The holidays seemed to overwhelm me this year - so much to do and apparently by default, *I* was responsible for it all... I couldn't get into it this year for some reason. But we put away the decorations yesterday, and it's done

Kids are home until the 9th  but we are taking this extra week of downtime to purge their bedrooms of junk!!! Mike and I also re-did our "9 year old gender-neutral baby room" into Elyse's *big girl* room. We painted it yellow and got my old bedroom set in there with some butterfly and ladybug accents - it is cute!!

I'm more determined than ever to de-clutter and get organized for '06. Also hoping to do a better job with meal planning this year - healthier meals and fewer trips to the store would be nice - I borrowed a new crockpot cookbook - hoping some of those recipes turn out good so I can work them into the rotation

Oh yeah - I've started exercising regularly again - which feels great!! But I got hit on New Years with a lovely headcold so I'm taking a few days off....for Christmas I got 2 more pilates DVDs to add to my rotation and I found a plan for running - works you slowly up to 20 minutes over 10 weeks so I've been going to the gym and working up my walk/run interval according to schedule....it feels really good!!

Well, this turned into a novel - sorry to have been neglecting everyone - it was a tough month - but as always, you are in my thoughts and prayers for good health!

It's *another* rainy day here - will probably clean for awhile then watch "March of the Penguins" borrowed from my neighbor...

Love,

Mary
