Excessive gas

Post by Daba »

This is my fifth day off of Budesonide after being on the steroid for five months. Since I have tapered off completely, I have excessive gas especially after dinner and throughout the night. Is this common for Lymphocytic Colitis? I didn't have it when I was on Budesonide. Do you recommend Gas X, Phazime? What works????

Some members have taken Gas-X with some success.

Gas is usually caused by bacteria fermenting fiber. Eating less carbohydrates can reduce gas, indigestion, heartburn.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
