Too much chicken liver

Post by FinolaJC »

Yesterday I had a fairly big serving of chicken livers, and while I was eating my throat became quite sore. Since- then I have felt like I'm inflamed / having a flare up. Not diarrhea, "fevery" without actual fever, achy, lethargic, bit nauseous...is it possible I had a reaction to the chicken livers? They're local and supposed to be raised without antibiotics or growth hormone...

Weird. Never heard of anything similar to this. I hope someone else can offer some insight on this. Since it happened within minutes of starting to eat, it sounds like more of an allergic (IgE-based) reaction than a typical MC (IgA-based) reaction

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
