Tryptase and histamine lab tests

Are there medications or foods, etc., to be avoided before having blood drawn for these tests?

I found no restrictions for tryptase, and no vitamin c five days prior for the histamine. I would think antihistamines should be avoided, but I didn't come across that.

Please let me know if this is accurate, and if you are aware of any additional restrictions.
