Question about blood test prices

Post by artteacher »

Just a quick one: how do the testing prices compare for Enterolab vs Prometheus?

Hi Marsha. I don't know what Enterolab charges but I think the Prometheus tests were around $450 (insurance paid most of it). My tests included Celiac seriology (antibodies) as well as the genes. Hope this helps.

Love,

To my knowledge, Enterolab doesn't do any blood tests. Most of their tests are performed on stool samples, except for the gene analysis, which is based on a swab sample taken from the inside of your cheeks.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
