soluble fiber

Hello everyone,

Not sure if I am posting this question under the correct board.

I am wondering if anyone finds a water soluble fiber of any help in thickening the watery diarrhea when in flare up or absorbing the excess bile in BAM.

One of the GI doctors recommended psyllium husk powder capsules and I know that I can't tolerate this
.
Other types of soluble fiber I know of are SunFiber (PHGG) guar gum and Galactan by Premier Research Labs (arabinogalactan from the Larch tree.)

I know that we are to avoid fiber in general but does it mean also all soluble fiber?
