With the holidays and all, I forgot!

Hope to see you then!

Hi Liz,

If I used the World Clock right, 9:00 EST should be 12:00 noon in Brisbane. Or did I make a math mistake?

It is either 11 or 12 Wayne. Have to check. Depends on if there is 'daylight saving' involved'

Daylight Saving is not in effect in the U S, now. We went back on regular time at the end of October. Do you observe DST in Australia?

The board is mighty quiet today, isn't it. I guess everyone is hard at work, trying to make up for the time they had off during the holidays.

Love,
Wayne

Hi..I'm here  Today, I had to go into school to hang an art show in our gallery. I am a little nervous because I am showing some of my new work in the show. Good thing I have a day job..har har!

I came home and the critter traps had been set on the roof....so far, all is quiet.

I called my GI today and talked to his nurse...she talked to the doc and called me back. I'm going to stay on 2 Entocorts per week! I explained that I really didn't want to mess with the dosage until after ski season...I guess he must have also thought that was a good idea.... So, I will stay as is until I have my next appt with him next summer....unless things get worse of course.

I am off to Vashon Island tonight for a ski school meeting, then it's back to school tomorrow...sigh....it will be fun to see the kids and hear about their great adventures, but now I'm used to sleeping late...sigh

TTFN...JJ

Thanks Wayne. We don't have DS in Queensland but the do have it in other states. Thought it was pretty quiet yesterday too.

Jill good luck with your art show. You should post some of your work. I am sure we would love to see it. Does only 2 Entocorts keep you OK. I am on 2 X 3mg per day & hoping I can get off it or at least reduce the dose. 2 per week sound AOK to me. Am see in new GI doctor on Friday afternoon so we will see.

Love

Hi Liz...my camera is dead at the moment, but will try to get it up and running soon.
My doc started reducing my Entocort very gradually starting last summer. 7/19, I took 3mg every other day, then 9/1 I started taking a pill 3xwk, then 11/1 I started 3mg twice a week. That's where I'm at now and it seems to be the ticket for me. I eat everything. If I overdo it with nuts, I pay the next morning, and I have had a couple of episodes with D, but that may have been stress or bad food...hahaha. I can live like this. I take vitamins, try to eat a high protein diet and have quite a bit of energy. Unlike last year when I had 4 colds, I have been healthy so far this year. I am very encouraged and hope my doc will keep me on the low dose of Entocort...I sure hope so! Let me know what yur doc says....good luck! take care...JJ

Sounds like you have found the happy road for you. Entocort has been a life saver for me over the last month or so but I do want to get off it or at least reduce the dose. If you can do it successfully mabI can too.
