KAIT's SURGERY
Well this morning they operated on Kait and inserted the titanium plate to build up her head----they said they couldnt pull up the skin,on the side of her head, too much ---would interfer with her hearing??? But with Kaits curly mop I wouldnt worry about a little loss of a hairline---then LYNN says we can do hair transplant later!!! I WILL KILL LYNN IF SHE EVER PUTS THIS CHILD TO ANY UN_NECESSARY surgery---as HAIR TRANSPLANTS-----UFF!!!!!! and Kait could care less----terrific *TUDE*
Also took a culture to make sure there is no *bacteria* ---god knows there shouldnt be --after being on antibiotics for 8 months~~~~
She will need the hypobaric(spelling) chamber for 10 days---
SO it sounds good so far-----I hope this is KAIT'S YEAR!!!!
Wouldnt this be a celebration!!!!! And they will be able to make the trip to ITALY given to them from MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION!!!!
WHOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I'm so glad things went well! What a trooper she is with a POSSITIVE attitude! That will help her go far!

Hi Barbara,
I do hope this is the end of the long hard road Kait has had to walk and sometimes crawl down. I would literally slap Lynn if she even considered any more surgery for Kait and especially for a hair transplant. Also, since insurance is so minimal would Grandmom and Grandpop be footing the bill? I think not.
Love you and really want to call but do not have your AZ number. Need it badly.
Love, Maggie
