Liz, question for you
Hi Liz,
I noticed that you have avocado trees. Do birds ever eat them? The pet bird community believes that they are bad for birds, but I'd like to confirm it from someone like you.
Thanks! Jean
PS How's the sewing room cleaning going? What are you making today?

Hi Jean
I have one large avocado tree that shades the western side of the house. I love it & birds do congregate there but I don't think that they actually eat the fruit. The fruit bats do though, They eat anything in their path. Had a couple of kookaburras in there just before Christmas. I have made a sort of a mini rain forrest under the tree, always looks cool & shady even when it's hot as blazes.
love

Wow! It sounds like you live in a tropical or semi-tropical paradise, with such a variety of fruit trees. That's fantastic!
And a fish filleting shed to boot! Would you consider adopting me? LOL.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
