Probiotic for Histamine Intolerance - Newbie

Post by LauraGld »

I am a newbie recently diagnosed with CC. I am hoping to find balance and a healthy gut with as little medication as possible. I am reading the Microscopic Colitis book....so must wonderful information, I am a bit overwhelmed but trying to sort it all out. I look forward to learning more from this group :) Any thoughts on the probiotic below.....I thought it might be helpful with the histamine component of CC.

FürsrenMED Bifidoflor HIT-Probiotics Histamine Intolerance - Lactobacillus & Bifidobacterium? Any thoughts? Here's the amazon link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J5 ... 3ERC&psc=1

if you use the search function you will see previous discussions about probiotics

Histamine intolerance is mostly linked to nutrient deficiencies. Probiotics may help, but to treat root cause you are best to avoid high histamine items/ situations and take things like B6 and magnesium that moderate histamine levels.
(the same as we recommend for MC, avoid high inflammation triggers and help body moderate inflammation levels via Vit D3 and magnesium)
