Oatmeal
Hello. I have avoided oatmeal because the avenin in oatmeal has the similar structure as gluten. I went out on a limb & decided to try oatmeal as I was very hungry for baked oatmeal. I used Bob's Red Mill organic, certified gluten free oatmeal & it seems that it did not bother me at all. I'm not going to eat it frequently, but I took baked oatmeal bars along on vacation & it was wonderful to have something different & something to stick to my ribs as we were very active while on vacation. The organic, certified gluten free was a bit more pricey than Bob's gf oatmeal, but it was worth it to me to be as safe as I could be.

Re: Oatmeal
Oatmeal is one of the food items that I have missed most of all!!! When I was visiting my daughter last summer, I used a little oat creamer in my coffee and didn't have any problem (I usually use an almond based one). I think that I will give Bob's organic GF oats a try sometime!!! Thank you for sharing!
Best,
Pam

You're welcome, Pam! I am very hesitant to try anything new, but I'm so glad that I did! I hope you have success as well!
