Can LC turns in to Chron?
Is it possible that LC turns into a more serious disease, such as Crohn or ulcerativa colitis?
Re: Can LC turns in to Chron?
No. We're not immune to developing Crohn's disease or UC, but we have the same risk of developing either of those diseases as anyone else in the general population (assuming that we keep our disease in remission). Active MC depletes vitamin D and magnesium, and adequate vitamin D is necessary for our immune system to work properly. A chronic vitamin D deficiency opens the door to the development of a variety of other autoimmune diseases, and magnesium deficiency is associated with every disease known to medical science.

Can someone recommend a safe D3 supplement (in the U.S.). I just saw that mine has soy in it. Also, do we need to take D3 with K2?
Re: Can LC turns in to Chron?
Many of us take Doctor's Best brand of vitamin D, because it's safe, but there are many other brands, that are also safe (as long as you read the label before you buy).

You can try Doctor's Best brand, it's soy-free and a popular choice. As for K2, it's recommended to take it with D3 for better absorption, but it's not necessary.onebigpill wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 8:11 am Can someone recommend a safe D3 supplement (in the U.S.).
