Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, and up until reading most of your posts, truly thought I was going crazy. I've had constant D (at times 12 D's a day/night) since July 2022, and was diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis via colonoscopy in December. It took me months to see a GP about the D because I thought I may have caught COVID and D was my only symptom. That was until the D just wouldn't go away.
Like many of you, I've been having panic attacks, and my anxiety is through the roof, thus the feeling of going crazy. I had no idea that this may be a direct result of my MC but makes sense now I understand what an impact this is having on my gut bacteria.
I have been desperately researching MC as it has had such a negative impact on my life. A few years back I did 12 months of chemotherapy, radiation and multiples surgeries for stage 3 cancer, however, MC has taken a bigger toll on my health than that treatment. I continued to work throughout my cancer treatment, but with MC, I can barely get out of bed some days, and this is incredibly distressing. So, I've been Google doctoring...... and there is so much disinformation out there. So, I feel lucky to have found this site. This is why the question on a product called CurQD by Evinature. It is a Curcumin and Qing Dai supplement that seems ridiculously expensive. I did fall for the marketing spin (desperate for some relief from this disease) and have been on it for a week. So far it seems to be making me worse ( I know, early days yet...), and I've since read on this site that Curcumin is not really advised. I would love to hear form anyone who has tried CurQD or any other advice re Curcumin.
Sorry for the long message.
