positive norovirus test - but I don't think so

positive norovirus test - but I don't think so

In an unexplained lapse, I ate 2 pita chips on Christmas day. Diarreha started Dec. 26 pm and continues. My gastro told me if I got a flare to get a stool sample test. I did, and it "detects" norovirus. I have had zero vomiting. Has anyone had a positive norovirus test and not had norovirus? Thank you for your help.
