Frustrated

Post by annie oakley »

There was this Pastor and his wife that went to the hospital when I had surgery for my knee and prayed during the surgery. I have been trying to find out their last name....she came in the store everyday for lunch (I have left a message for her there) I want to give them some deer meat. They were so sweet to come and pray for me. But I haven't been able to find them. Any suggestions? Love Oma

Hi Oma,
If they are regulars at the hospital and listed as hospital clergy, you might call the hospital.
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

The hospital should be able to find out who they are for you, maybe at least what church they come from. Maybe if you went back to the hospital you could find some friendly looking nurse who'd be willing to help you out?

Oma-

I agree - the hospital should be able to let you know. I spent some time with a sister/nun when my second son was in the NICU. She prayed with me as well, and she actually gave me a "business card". It seemed a bit odd at the time, but it makes sense, for contact reasons later on....
