Hi Barb. Welcome back. Good to see your smilin' face again. It was nice that you were able to spend some time with Deb. You miss your family, I know when they are strung out all over the country & you are not able to see them very often.
How is Lou now? Has he settled down any? Robert's hearing problems are driving us both nuts. He gets so frustrated & angry at times. I have a friend who lives across the road whose husband has about the same hearing as Robert, about zilch without the hearing aid & not that much better with it. It is not only hard for them but us too. You forget sometimes that you are not close enough or facing in the right direction for them to hear you & that gets them angry. We have a bit of a bellyache to each other every now & then & that helps.

Any weight bearing excersise is good to help preserve bone density. I am hoping that I can start walking again when my leg is better, as well as riding the trike. The trike will probably get more attention because I find that I can't walk too far in one go because of arthritis in my feet. Even a couple of turns around the block would help. Doc says to take a walk around the my house every now & them. She calls it 'laps' I am having the bone density test tomorrow & picking up my other xrays then too. Taking them to doc on Friday. She want to see how the arthritis is progressing apart from knee problem. The physiotheraphy has definately helped the knee feel a bit better. Having another session on Friday as well.

Love

Liz
