Hello everyone

Post by Wendy »

Well in the process of trying to help me network and share information with my other computer, and use the printer from my laptop, my poor brother ended up losing my connection instead. He doesn't know what he did that screwed it up, but he lost my wireless connection and has not been able to get it to work again, so he did get the internet connection working, but it has to be plugged into my laptop. The cord is not long enough to go anywhere but the livingroom, so I am on the couch right now. But I have again waited too long to get the shot in my back, so through my own stupidity, I over did it once again, and now I am down for the count.

But it was worth it!

It was my youngest daughters birthday, she turned 23 on Sunday. She asked for Butter Cream Torte for her birthday. so its what she got! The fun part is when I get all the girls here, and this year it was special because of Amanda being pregnant. We took loads of pictures of her bare belly with one or all of us attempting to feel Mason move or kick. Good News, we all felt him! And you would not believe how big she has gotten? Her belly is much bigger then a basketball now, my goodness. But she has this beautiful belly, and for some reason it is so amazing to see, and feel my grandson growing, its truly amazing. Well the gramma's here would know, but even if you have had the experience with a friend, it's so cool. She also has had so many friends through work that pat her belly and are just as excited. We got lots of pictures of the dogs too! There is something so funny about an English bulldog, they have a million expressions and Nova is no different. We took so many pictures of her. She was like a little vacuum under our table, but after dinner both the dogs got a treat of pork tenderloin and turkey breast, they loved that. Well I guess you have to be there, but it is so much fun to watch. And I wish that I could do this more, but I really get shot down everytime I think I can fool my body into what boils down to a normal day to day thing and get away with it. Everytime I do, I take so long to recover, so I am trying to focus on all the fun we had and not what results. So that is what I am going to do. Only two more months till baby is here! Can hardly wait. And now I have to go and lay down, fever is up once again, drags me down, and maybe that is what makes me so tired too. Don't know, since I didn't have fevers for so long, I don't really know what it does to the body. The good thing is that it is supposed to be good, it means your body is trying to fight off something right? So its a good thing. K

Hugs and Happy Valentines

Aren't there some pregnant women that actually get bothered by people wanting to pat and rub their bellies? The whole process absolutely fascinates (and scares the hell) outta me. I'm sure glad I have nieces and nephews!

Enjoy your special time as a grandma Wendy!

And a happy happy Valentine's to you as well.

Love

Hello to you too, Gramma!

Is that what you wish to be called? My niece's little girl calls me "Mamoo", a name she coined herself when she was 6 mos. old. I LOVE it! I can tell that you are going to be such a wonderful Gramma! You will spoil that baby ROTTEN. The next two months will seem like a year, no doubt!

Re the temperature...........yes indeed, it may a good thing if the body is trying to fight off an infection. However, it may not be so good if it is the result of a chronic autoimmune response, a reaction to ongoing inflammation. I am not saying this to depress you. I also had fever that went along with my MC. Once the MC was in remission, the fever went away. So I am saying that you may well be able to lose that fever once the MC is in control. There is HOPE, m'dear!

Keep us posted on the unfolding pregnancy. It is so exciting!!!

Love,

Polly
