I must apologise to you two....you are going thru some rough times and I have been acting like I am the only one. I don'y know if you have money issues as well but it's a bit nerve racking to worry about if you can pay your electric bill this month or not on top of no job huh? I Guess this happens when you have always had great credit. But I hope we all get straightened around, jobs, etc. Love Oma

Hi Oma...no need to apologize....my job issues aren't going to impact me until next September. I feel like a wimp complaining when things are OK right now. It is the stress and and uncertainty that are killing me...and also the fact that I have treated my work place like a family/home for the past 29 years and now feel dumped on by my family. Silly me for getting so emotionally attached to a job/school. Guess I am learning an important lesson. I have also been stressed developing four new summer classes that I will need to offer this summer...the deadline is tomorrow. The school takes almost half the $ and I have been trying to negotiate a deal where they would take less $ for promotion since I will be offering 12 half day summer camps and they may make a ton of $ off me....grrrrr. Haven't heard yet. Of course, there is no guarantee that any kids will sign-up for my classes...that's another stress factor. Sorry for rambling on, things will get better for ALL of us. Take care...JJ

Oh gosh Oma, no need to apologize! I do worry about paying the rent, but I still have some money in savings and my husband can help. We keep our finances separate, and I've never asked him for help before. But, first time for everything! Even though I have these worries, I am still going on vacation (my husband is paying for it), and getting my mercury fillings removed. I just keep praying that I will get more work and the money will come through. But I also know I can't work more than 20 hours a week or my health suffers at this point.

But my situation is not so dire by any means. I don't want to overshadow the problems you are facing, that's for sure. Just thought it might be nice to know that there's a few of us in the same boat, so we can keep each other company!

Be well! Celia

Jill,

I can really related to feeling dumped by your "family" in your job situaiton. I felt the same and it was quite traumatic at the beginning. But like I said before, I learned so much from the experience. I don't think it's silly to care about your job and the people there, but it's true...everyting in this world is impermanent. If we can integrate that wisdom and live with less attachment, change won't be so difficult for us.

Be well,
Celia
