I got my local phone bill Saturday. My local bill is normally $24.50 every month Like clockwork. I opened it and discovered that the Amt owed was $60.00. I about fell out. Had Mike call the ph company because I didn't have time today....it seems that I filled out a survey on line not once but twice...which I never do, but for some reason did and they charged me 12.95 twice. Seems by filling out this survey, I had agreed to join something. Mike had the phone company un-join us right now. I will have to pay the extra charge...but have learned my lesson about surveys. There was a reason I never filled them out before. Love Oma

I don't fill out surveys online for any reason. You have to be so careful to read the fine print. Also when you're installing a program and it asks you if you've read and agreed to it, read it before you say "I agree" because there are sometimes things you get signed up to that you are unaware of.
I used to just click on the "I agree" so I could get on with the installation, but don't do that anymore.
It's unfortunate, but there are many ways we can get taken advantage of by unscrupulous sales tactics.

It made me bit mad....but at least it was only $25 and not $100. Ised to never fill out things like that...Lost my head for ashort time...never again. Love Oma
