Great article, and...

Do you remember when SOME people on the other board were INSISTING that only people with DQ2 and DQ8 could possibly have Celiac Disease? I knew there were a small fraction that weren't, but you can't tell some people anything, now can you!

This is a really great article. Thank you so much for posting it!

Yours, Luce

Would you please put this article in the Current Research area of this board. This looks like our kinda article, doesn't it?

Marsha,

That is indeed an excellent article. I could move it, if necessary, but it would be better if you posted it in the "Current Research" room, with an appropriate title.

Would you mind doing that? Everyone who is gluten sensitive should read that article. Thanks.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Post by TendrTummy »

I think we should make a field trip to the UNcomfy room and post it there ;)

Almost cried when I read about how IF it happens, they're hoping to have it by the time his son goes to college - 11 yrs. WAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! I feel SO crappy today. I can't imagine living another 11 yrs.

Marsha,

That's a great article - good find. I would love to see it posted in the "information on diet" room. The illustration of how the gluten breaks down into peptides and enters the small intestine is a good addition to the little thing put together on "what is gluten".

Have you already posted the link to the article somewhere?

MJ, Great Glutes!!

Somebody feel free to move that link to where ever it's most appropriate. I did put it in the information links area. Please retitle it, too, if you need to. I'm glad you all liked it: I'm trying to use my powers for good not evil.
