Remember me telling ya'll about the little finch that laid her eggs in the Top to the Gas bottles Mike uses for welding?? Well it was setting on the work bench right where it was where it was when she filled it with nesting material and eggs. We noticed that the babies were hatched and naked as jay birds. So that was all the more reason to leave it alone and let her tend to her nest. When Mike would work in there, she would fly out and when he left she'd fly back...a working relationship
well this am (aprox 5:30am ) as we were leaving for work we saw a cat run from the area where the babies. We stopped and walked over there witha flashlight and sure enough theat wild cat got the babies, all of them. I will not tell you what happened to the cat, because I know some of you have Cats for furr babies.
